CryptoGames establishes corporate venture capital CG Ventures, focusing on Web3 and the card industry

CryptoGames announced the establishment of its corporate venture capital division CG Ventures, with plans to increase investment in Web3 and trading card fields. It is reported that CryptoGames has previously invested in 17 companies in the Web3 field, and this time it will further expand to trading card related projects. CG Ventures will focus on investing in Web3 and card projects that have synergies with the CryptoGames business, primarily in the early and seed stages, with a primary emphasis on direct equity investments. CryptoGames launched the blockchain card game CryptoSpells in 2019 and raised a record high of 900 ETH in Japan through crowdfunding. Afterwards, the company also launched "TCG Verse" and NFT card store "TCG STORE" based on Oasys.
