Protocol Guild updates its brand and will allocate an additional $48 million in donations to Ethereum core developers over the next 4 years

According to Foresight News, Protocol Guild, a collective fundraising mechanism created by Ethereum core contributors, tweeted that its new brand, logo, and website have been launched today. The Protocol Guild aims to ensure the long-term development of Ethereum by funding 190 core developers and covering 47 core code repositories. Since 2022, the Protocol Guild has funded $28 million and will allocate an additional $48 million in donations to Ethereum core developers over the next four years. Funding will come from committed partners such as Ether.fi and EigenLayer, as well as organizations such as LayerZero and Optimism.
