On May 17th, according to Politico, a group of cryptocurrency entrepreneurs and their families in France will receive enhanced security measures after experiencing two successful kidnapping incidents and one attempted kidnapping incident. The French Ministry of the Interior stated that these measures include prioritizing access to the police emergency hotline, on-site visits by the police, and providing security training to help individuals understand the best protective practices. Law enforcement officers will also receive 'anti cryptocurrency money laundering training'. French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau said in a statement on Friday, "We will respond to the continuous kidnapping incidents of professionals in the cryptocurrency industry through a series of specialized measures, including immediate and short-term measures, to prevent, deter, and stop such behavior, in order to protect the industry
