According to Politico, the French Ministry of the Interior has stated that it will provide enhanced security measures for the country's leading cryptocurrency entrepreneurs and their families. This decision stems from at least three kidnapping incidents targeting cryptocurrency industry leaders and their families that have occurred since the beginning of this year. French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau stated that the new security measures include priority access to the police emergency hotline, on-site visits by the police, and security briefings. At the same time, law enforcement personnel will receive "anti cryptocurrency money laundering training". At present, these cases have been transferred to the French organized crime prosecution department for investigation, and multiple people have been arrested.
