*TREASURY 30-YEAR YIELD RISES TO 5%, FIRST TIME SINCE APRIL 30-year yield reached 5.02% intraday on April 9, 2025. The chart below shows that the last time the 30-year CLOSED (6PM ET mark) at 5% or higher was October 31, 2023. 5.11% on October 19, 2023, was the highest closing yield since July 2007 (18 years ago).
