Wu learned that Ripple has announced the addition of two new Ripple Payments clients, Zand Bank and Mamo, in the United Arab Emirates. Both parties will use Ripple's blockchain cross-border payment system for fund settlement. Previously, Ripple had obtained permission from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) to conduct digital asset related payment services locally.
