Long term, bitcoin always goes up, no doubt about it. But let’s do some math right now, just for fun. Let’s say bitcoin goes to $200k this cycle (it won’t) But let’s assume it does. One guy bought $1m worth of bitcoin at $20k and another guy bought $1m worth at $100k Bitcoin hits $200k, woohoo! How much did each investor make? The guy who bought $1m worth at $20k (50 bitcoins) made 9 MILLION profit While the guy who bought $1m worth at $100k (10 bitcoins) only made 1 million profit 8 MILLION DOLLARS DIFFERENCE, or 800% difference, the initial amount was the same. So yeah, it absolutely does matter when you get in. Right now is NOT the time to buy bitcoin. If you think otherwise, you will never get rich. Never.
