The threshold for this event ranges from $55000 to $37.7 million, with the top 7 participants each investing over $10 million. Research shows that "158 out of 220 wallets, or 72%, seem to be foreigners". Independent researcher Molly White stated that they were identified as non US citizens by using cryptocurrency exchanges that do not allow US citizens to register.
