EToro expands its US cryptocurrency business and resumes trading of 12 tokens online

BlockBeats News: On May 28th, online trading platform eToro announced on Wednesday that it has launched 12 cryptocurrencies on its US platform, expanding its digital asset products in the US after significantly reducing its US business last year due to regulatory restrictions. The newly added tokens include Cardano, Dogecoin, XRP, and Shiba Inu, increasing the total number of tradable encrypted assets on the US platform from 3 to 15. These newly added tokens will be launched together with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BCH. Previously, eToro only retained these three types of cryptocurrency assets after reaching a settlement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 2024.
