The Ministry of Local Government and Community Development will oversee the construction of 45 concrete units under the Indigent Housing Programme at a cost of J$450m this year. In making this announcement, Portfolio Minister, Hon. Desmond McKenzie, pointed out that this number of units would be the highest recorded for the programme in a single year.
