If you love losing money or completely wasting your time (farming play to airdrop campaigns) I would get into Web3 gaming We're barely halfway through the year and already 17 of them (many with 10M+ in funding) have shut down (removing the handles so I don't get flagged) nyanheroes tatsumeeko blastroyale RumbleKongs RoboKiden DerbyRaceGame Goombles_ KryptomonTeam InviteToMystery battlebound playanterris ValeriaStudios BladeofgodX Jungle_xyz ChampionsVerse LootLegendsGame PlayEmberSword GoGalaGames Literally thousands of gaming projects have been launched since 2018 and they basically all fail due to running out of funding/lack of PMF the VCs don't want to bite again for round 2 and they have already raised from the public/ community I "invested" in some of these project via community VCs in the last cycle like 3-4 years ago and some never even had their TGE ...lmao Definitely a cursed niche in the space and one that I've become very disillusioned with which is sad because the narrative pipedream around NFT + gaming made "a lot of sense" to me and was one of the reasons I was initially attracted to the space The thesis was alluring We've seen a proof of concept of this with CSGO skins, allegedly Vitalik got involved / interested in building ETH due to one of his weapons on his Warlock in WoW getting nerfed by Blizzard But TLDR I had my biggest losses by far from things within the gaming niche and since the consolidated winners (wildcard ect) are likely "priced in" and are pretty limited in upside from here imo Your better off spending your time and capital in many other areas and niches in the space where there is so much opportunity on a weekly/ monthly basis
