Musk accuses Trump of being "ungrateful" and breaking the political and business entanglements behind it! Musk launched a comprehensive attack on Trump on social media platforms, stating that "without me, Trump cannot win the election. The House of Representatives will be controlled by the Democratic Party, and the Republican Party will only be 51-49 in the Senate." He also called Trump "ungrateful. This marks a complete rupture between Musk and Trump. The core of their conflict lies in a tax reform bill recently pushed by Trump. Musk publicly criticized the bill on X on Wednesday, stating that it would burden the United States with a heavy debt burden. On Thursday, Trump told the media at the White House that Musk was angry because the bill reduced tax subsidies for electric vehicles, and he also expressed disappointment with Musk. Musk responded that even if the clause to reduce subsidies for electric vehicles/solar energy is retained, the "pork project" in the bill should be cut. In addition, Musk and Trump also have differences in tariff policies, government reforms, and Musk is dissatisfied with Trump's meeting with his archenemy OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Musk was a key confidant of Trump's second term and became one of the most influential donors to the Republican Party in the past year, investing approximately $300 million in Trump's re-election campaign. In return, Trump appointed Musk as the leader of the newly established "Government Efficiency Department". But with Musk's status as a "special government employee" expiring, he officially left the White House last week.
