According to CoinDesk, the US GENIUS Act is expected to receive significant bipartisan support in the Senate. Democratic Senator Ruben Gallego stated that the bill has incorporated multiple Democratic amendments and currently has the support of up to 16 Democrats. He pointed out that if the bill is successfully passed, it still needs to be accompanied by a crypto market structure bill to truly achieve regulatory clarity. The bill may have its final vote as early as next week.
