Hong Kong plans to expand restrictions on misleading financial names to include words such as' virtual assets' The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission proposes to expand the list of restricted titles under the Securities and Futures Ordinance and the Anti Money Laundering Ordinance to include terms such as "trading platforms" and "virtual assets" to prevent unregulated institutions from misleading the public. The consultation period is until August 11th.
