An important caveat of this, even as Trump appeals. As of Noon tomorrow a court has ordered National Guard control back to the state. That means even if Trump ignores the court - the National Guard can *IGNORE* his orders as they are deemed unlawful. It is not up to him. Until an appeals court stays the decision or decides otherwise, then this noon prevision will supersede Trump’s authority. At that time it will be the sworn obligation of the National Guard to ignore his orders as he is no longer their chain-of-command!
