The Trump admin rushing out a statement of talks still being on Sunday was dumb. Pretty clear Iran would pull out, but honestly, it’s not clear that there is anyone left in Iran with the authority to actually attend these talks and make real promises anyway…. The President and Supreme Leader wouldn’t attend, and the rest of the senior chain of command has basically been obliterated, as well as all their senior nuclear personnel… It’d be like trying to talk about Chik-Fil-A corporate policy with the kid who stands outside at the drive-thru…
