Beijing Dongcheng Court has released the "White Paper on the Trial of Cultural Relics and Artworks Auction Cases (2014-2024)", which points out that some auctioneers use blockchain technology for digital recording, but there are still disputes over private chain authentication, timestamp objections, and electronic signature verification. The diversity and inconsistent standards of appraisal institutions and appraisers lead to significant subjectivity and uncertainty in appraisal results. There is also considerable debate over whether appraisal certificates, as evidence in case trials, have legal effect and to what extent they affect case judgments.
