Russia cracks illegal Bitcoin mining case using trucks and seizes 95 mining devices

According to the official Russian news agency TASS, illegal cryptocurrency mining activities were discovered hidden inside a Kamaz truck during routine power line inspections in the Baikal Lake region. The truck obtained electricity from a 10 kV line and contained 95 mining equipment and a mobile substation. However, two suspects fled the scene in an SUV before the police arrived. Buryatia Energy, a subsidiary of Siberian Electric Power Company in Russia, stated that there have been six cases of electricity theft related to cryptocurrency mining since the beginning of this year.
