The latest report from TheMinerMag shows that the cost of Bitcoin mining is expected to exceed $70000 in the second quarter of 2025, an increase of about 9.4% from $64000 in the first quarter. This cost increase is mainly driven by the increase in network hash rate and rising energy prices, especially for mining companies such as Terawulf whose energy costs have doubled compared to the same period last year.
