According to the South Korean media Economic Review, eight major banks in South Korea, including KB National Bank, Shinhan, Woori, NH Agricultural Cooperative, IBK Enterprise Bank, Fisheries Association Bank, Citibank Korea, and Standard Chartered Korea, are collaborating with the Open Blockchain and DID Association and Financial Settlement Institute to establish a joint venture company for Korean won stablecoins. This project is the first time that the banking industry has jointly entered the digital asset field in the form of a consortium. The preliminary plan includes two types of stablecoin models: trust type and deposit linked type. It is expected to establish a company as early as the end of this year or early next year. http://(wublock123.com)/index.php? m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=6&id=44526
