Kraken awarded MiCA license by the Bank of Ireland, with compliance services covering the entire European Union

Odaily Planet Daily News: Crypto exchange Kraken announced that it has obtained the MiCA license issued by the Bank of Ireland and will be able to provide compliant cryptocurrency services across the 30 member states of the European Union in the future. This is another important development for Kraken in the European compliance process, following its acquisition of the Electronic Currency Institution (EMI) license in 2023 and the MiFID license in February 2025. The joint CEO of Kraken stated that the license will accelerate the company's business expansion in the EU market. （Cointelegraph）
