Where the TOTAL Crypto Market Cap is looking fine because of BTC's strength, the Total Altcoin Market Cap is telling another story. It's overall trend is much weaker and the chart isn't showing any real signs of a clear trend during the past 1.5 years. We've seen short ~3 month moves up and down but without a clean market structure like BTC. That 2024 high at ~1.27T remains a key area for further continuation and increase of altcoin risk appetite. Above that point I'd be happy looking more favorably towards altcoin performance relative to BTC.
