Fairshake/the crypto lobby likely would have played a pivotal role in @SenThomTillis’s reelection campaign in 2026, with this race expected to cost nearly 1 billion. Tillis signed onto the @BankingGOP market structure principles last week, and previously introduced the PROOF Act on crypto proof of reserves and an illicit finance discussion draft. @WileyNickel’s pro-crypto record in the House may now put him squarely in Fairshake’s sights. Will be interesting to see who the GOP opponent is.
