Robinhood plans to launch Layer 2 blockchain and provide 'stock tokens' in the European Union

Odaily Planet Daily News: Online brokerage firm Robinhood announced that it will allow EU clients to trade US stocks and ETFs on blockchain. These assets, known as "Robinhood stock tokens," will enjoy zero commission and holders will receive dividends within the broker's application. In addition, Robinhood plans to eventually transfer these tokenized stocks onto its own Layer 2 chain, described as "Arbitrum based," which is built on top of major blockchains such as Ethereum and typically faster and more efficient.
