Data: 56 VC coins will be listed in the first half of 2025, with only three FDVs exceeding $1 billion

According to data released by X platform user @ ahboyash, 56 tokens supported by venture capital have been listed in the first half of 2025, as reported by Golden Finance. 80% (45 projects) of the token generation events (TGEs) had a total fully diluted valuation (FDV) between $50 million and $1 billion, with 8 projects below $50 million and only 3 projects (@ KaitoAI, @ StoryProtocol, and @ WalrusProtocol) exceeding $1 billion. The data also indicates that venture capitalists typically invest in seed rounds at a valuation of $20 million to $100 million, and investors need to lock in for about 3 years after the TGE. Some projects are currently trading at prices lower than their previous funding valuation, leaving investors in a loss making state.
