The GraceKennedy Birthright Programme continues to serve as a critical bridge between Jamaica and the global Jamaican diaspora. Through this initiative, outstanding university students of Jamaican heritage from around the world return home to reconnect with their roots and contribute to national development. These young leaders bring with them a wealth of knowledge, from fields such as neuroscience, business, public policy, and engineering, and gain first-hand experience working with leading Jamaican institutions. As we build Jamaica’s future, programmes like these help to strengthen national identity, deepen ties with the diaspora, and ensure that wherever Jamaicans may live, they remain active participants in our development journey.
