Bybit Chief Legal Officer Robert MacDonald selected as one of the top 15 compliance officers in Asia for the year 2025 by Asian Legal Magazine

ALB pointed out that MacDonald, with his comprehensive experience in regulation, technology, and corporate governance, has demonstrated strong "regulatory diplomacy" capabilities, driving Bybit to achieve a balance between compliance and growth. MacDonald previously worked for the UK Department of Justice and participated in the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) before transitioning to the cross-border finance and technology sector, dedicated to translating regulatory experience into business growth strategies. He joined Bybit in September 2024 and was appointed as the legal and compliance director of Bybit. At present, he has led the platform to obtain licenses in Austria, the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, Georgia and other regions, and the number of users has increased from 30 million to 70 million.
