Suspected Pump.fun plans to launch a $600 million token sale on Solana, but was removed after a brief launch on Gate

On July 8th, it was reported that Pump.fun, the Meme coin launch platform on Solana, had originally planned to launch its own token sale later this week, but the plan was subsequently suspended. According to a page on the Gate.io cryptocurrency exchange, Pump.fun plans to offer 150 billion PUMP tokens for public sale, accounting for 15% of the total supply, priced at $0.004 per token, corresponding to a fully diluted valuation (FDV) of $4 billion. However, after attracting a lot of social media attention, the page has been taken down. Representatives from Pump.fun and Gate did not immediately respond to Decrypt's request for comment.
