A sad truth in crypto is that nobody gives a fuck about the people behind a project or what they’re building. I’ve had SO many good people create decent projects that couldn’t get past even a $500k MC If you want to truly send a project you have to have a war chest of capital on standby in order to induce FOMO. Most of the time that capital is from rugging multiple projects before the one they want to send (usually done anonymously) But most just starting to build in the space believe they have a chance to truly make an impact & build a successful multi million dollar project. Last cycle was SO much better for builders (even though most of that shit was LARP city). At least creative people stood a chance. Now it’s waiting for a TikTok video to be popular, making a meme from it & then persuading the owner of the TikTok account to join in on the bullshit for a piece of the supply. All while they’re cluelessly being dumped on by a handful of insiders 🤣
