Woke big banks are worried now that their policies against gun stores, oil companies and other industries have backfired. Wells Fargo, Citibank, BofA and JP Morgan Chase are all trying to backpedal fast. Red states are banning some of the major woke banks from state contracts. And Trump is considering banning them from federal contracts for debanking Conservatives. These large credit card banks also are under pressure for their large swipe fees, which are much more expensive for consumers compared to what is paid in Europe, which has more competition in payment networks. The average American family pays 1,000 per year in credit card swipe fees. The Credit Card Competition Act would be a huge step towards reigning in the abuse in the credit card market that these woke big banks have controlled for decades.
