Xu Zhengyu: Hong Kong's financial asset tokenization is expected to extend to ETFs in the next step

According to a report by Golden Finance, Hong Kong's Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Eddie Hui, stated in an interview with Cable News' Caizhi Business Herald that the Digital Asset Development Policy Declaration 2.0 has proposed promoting tokenization of financial assets. Currently, Hong Kong has experience in issuing token green bonds, and the next step is to extend it to exchange traded funds (ETFs). He believes that trading of metals and other commodities can also be studied using token payments.
