A PATRIOT CAN BOTH AGREE AND DISAGREE WITH PRESIDENT TRUMP In today’s divisive world, it seems you must be “ALL IN” or “ALL OUT” when it comes to @realDonaldTrump. If you give credit, you belong to a cult. If you criticize, you’re a RINO, suffering from TDS. I understood it much more during the election. A lot was at stake and people expected you to choose one side or the other. But the election is OVER. Trump won. Now, it’s about specific policies. The attitude, If you don’t agree with Trump on EVERYTHING you’re the enemy is just as STUPID as those who refuse to acknowledge any good Trump’s done. When I ran for Senate 🆚 @ewarren, I argued 12M illegal migrants crossing the border in 3.5 years under @JoeBiden posed a national security risk. @ewarren called me a racist, xenophobe. That sums up American politics today. Here’s the Truth: In 6 months, Trump’s done some really good things. Here’s a few: Border Security & passing the Laken Riley Act. Illegal crossing are down 93%; Deregulation of business and energy sectors (no longer hyper-focus on ESG, DEI, etc). Lower energy costs = lower prices = helping poor and working classes; NATO - Trump forced members to increase Spending to 3% GDP; Creation of @DOGE w/ @elonmusk; Expansion of School Choice; Crackdown on Fentanyl & Drug Cartels; Fostering innovation - Establishing Crypto/AI Czar @davidsacks47 and White House Crypto council w/@BoHines; Genius Act, Market Structure; Forcing companies to invest trillions in 🇺🇸 (SoftBank: 1T; Apple: 500B; TSM: 100B; Nividia: 100s of billions; Hyundai: 21B; Stellantis: 5B; Honda moving manufacturing to Indiana; GE: 500M with Washing machine manufacturing to Kentucky, etc. 🫡 🇺🇸 Thus, anyone claiming Trump hasn’t done good is blinded by partisanship or hate. But the BBB and handling of the Epstein files are NOT on that list. The mere fact Trump and @ewarren agree that the Debt Ceiling should be abolished tells you everything you need to know about intentions regarding the debt. @ewarren wants the Debt Ceiling gone because she believes her party will once again regain power. Imagine President @ewarren or President @AOC, with the Congress controlled by Democrats - with no debt ceiling. As for the Tax Cuts, here’s the breakdown: 35,000 or Less/year - Average Tax Cut: 60-160. But when you take the standard deduction + child credit + EITC - almost ALL get a full refund already. 50,000–100,000/year - Average Tax Cut = 1,800/household. 200,000–460,000/year - Average Tax Cut = 5,000–10,000 460,000–1.1M/year - Average Tax Cut = 21,000 1.1M-4.9M/year - Average Tax Cut =68,000 5M & above/year - Average Tax Cut = 400,000 In sum, TOP 20% get 70% of tax cuts; TOP 5% gets HALF. YES, good things are in it, like no tax on tips (up to 25K) and no tax on OT (up to 12,500). But it cuts EV credits while allowing oil and coal subsidies. How about we don’t favor one over the other and ELIMINATE all energy subsidies! Full 🛑 It allows 100% Bonus Depreciation for Luxury Yachts & Private Jets. It expands the CARRIED-INTEREST LOOPHOLE, allowing hedge fund managers to be taxed at 20% rather than ordinary income (up to 37%). You know the loophole Trump said he would abolish, unlike @HillaryClinton. It reinstates 50% deductions for business entertainment expenses, such as corporate boxes at sporting events, luxury dining, and private club memberships, all previously limited under the 2017 TCJA. It repeals the 1% excise tax on corporate stock buybacks, allowing companies to repurchase shares without tax issues. Give tax credits to give employee stock options - not buybacks. It allows accelerated depreciation for high-value art bought by corporations. It favors the wealthy, cuts food stamps and Medicaid and increases defense spending to a DoD that hasn’t passed an audit in 12 years. All while likely adding 3T to the deficit (unless we grow at 8% GDP). And then there’s Epstein ……
