DYdX acquires social trading app Pocket Protector

According to Foresight News, The Block reported that dYdX has acquired social trading app Pocket Protector, marking its first external acquisition. This transaction will bring most of Pocket Protector's engineering team to dYdX, while co founders Eddie Zhang and Kaiser Kinbote will also join dYdX as President and Head of Growth, respectively. Antonio Juliano, founder and CEO of dYdX, told The Block that Pocket Protector has a total of 9 employees. The transaction size has not been disclosed, and financing methods include cash and dYdX tokens.
