MEI Pharma (MEIP) announced a 100 million private placement, with the funds to be used for holding Litecoin (LTC) as a reserve asset, making it the first publicly listed company in the US stock market to adopt LTC. The financing is led by Charlie Lee and GSR, with participation from the Litecoin Foundation and others. GSR will manage the assets, and Charlie Lee will join the board of directors.
