Reggae Sumfest is one of Jamaica’s most iconic cultural showcases and a powerful representation of Brand Jamaica on the global stage. Beyond the music, events like Sumfest generate significant economic activity, particularly for small businesses, local vendors, and the tourism and hospitality sectors in Montego Bay and across Western Jamaica. As we continue to invest in the creative economy, my administration remains committed to policies that support talent development, cultural preservation, and the expansion of Jamaica’s cultural exports.
