Citadel Securities, a large market maker on Wall Street, urges the US SEC to act cautiously in promoting securities tokenization

According to Golden Finance, SEC Chairman Paul Atkins recently stated that traditional securities regulations may be simplified to assist companies in issuing tokenized securities. Citadel Securities, a large market maker on Wall Street, stated in a commentary letter to the SEC's cryptocurrency working group on Monday that such measures could lead to investor confusion and create an unfair competitive environment between exchanges and listed companies. Citadel Securities hopes that the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will act more slowly in allowing the development of "tokenized" securities.
