The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in the United States ruled that NFTs can be considered "goods" under the Langham Act and therefore receive trademark protection, and dismissed most of the legal defenses of artist Ryder Ripps. However, it also overturned its previous judgment of $9 million in compensation and injunction, and remanded the case back to the district court for retrial to determine whether ordinary consumers would confuse its RR/BAYC series with genuine Yuga Labs products. （The Block）
