Horizen has migrated the native token ZEN from Layer 1 to the Base chain

Golden Finance reported that Horizen blockchain has migrated its native token from the original Layer 1 blockchain to the Base chain, becoming a standard ERC-20 token. This token migration is part of Horizen 2.0's deployment as a three-tier application chain on Base. In this migration, ZEN became the standard ERC-20 token, and Horizen also launched a three-layer application chain with privacy at its core. The maximum supply of ZEN remains unchanged at 21 million pieces. The project team pointed out that this is the first step for Horizen to restart its privacy centric application chain ecosystem on Base. Previously, the exchange Coinbase announced on the X platform that it will automatically convert ZEN tokens held by users on the Horizen main chain into ERC-20 equivalent tokens on the Base.
