Insiders: A high-level US business delegation will visit China

According to the website of Hong Kong's South China Morning Post on July 27th, two insiders revealed that a high-level US business delegation is about to visit China. The report said that the trip to Beijing was organized by the National Committee on US China Trade, and the delegation was led by Raj Subramaniam, the chairman of the committee's board of directors and CEO of FedEx. The report also stated that the complete list of members and itinerary of the delegation has not been announced yet, but two sources have indicated that some executives from Boeing and Tan Sen, the chairman of the US China Business Council, will definitely join the delegation. They are expected to meet with Chinese officials and may restart negotiations related to the business sector, "said a source. The upcoming visit will be the highest level business delegation sent by the United States since President Trump launched a new round of tariff wars in April this year.
