According to BlockBeats, on July 28th, analysts from Swiss bank Baosheng wrote in a report that the Federal Reserve may restart its interest rate cut cycle at the FOMC meeting in September. They said that the weakening economic outlook means that the Federal Reserve will implement a more loose monetary policy in the second half of the year. They added that the uncertainty surrounding inflation after the tariff hike, as well as political pressure from President Trump to cut interest rates, have hindered this month's rate cuts.
They stated that after July, the stagnation of private consumption and the reduction of investment plans (indicating weakened demand) will prove that although inflation is higher than the target, the policy stance of reducing restrictions is reasonable. (Golden Ten)
