Bitmain plans to open its first factory in the United States by the end of the third quarter

According to The Block, Bitmain, the world's largest cryptocurrency mining machine manufacturer, has announced plans to launch new production lines in Texas or Florida by the end of the third quarter of this year and initially recruit 250 local employees to be responsible for production and on-site maintenance. Irene Gao, the global business leader of Bitmain, revealed in an interview with Bloomberg that the new factory is expected to start production in early 2026 and achieve full capacity by the end of the year. This expansion is in line with the policy direction of promoting domestic manufacturing in the United States, and cryptocurrency mining is being seen as a strategic industry alongside semiconductors and energy.
