Da Hong Communication, a subsidiary of Lotte Group, builds a blockchain "fund flow" ecosystem based on Aptos

Golden Finance reported that Daehong Communications, a subsidiary of Lotte Group in South Korea, announced the construction of a "Money Movement" blockchain ecosystem for the real economy based on Aptos. As one of the largest retail and commercial groups in South Korea, Lotte Group's business covers multiple fields and has a huge consumer network and market influence. This collaboration will integrate Aptos blockchain into Giftiel, a mobile voucher service operated by Dahong's subsidiary. Since the integration was completed in early July, Giftiel has over 500000 users holding vouchers on the Aptos chain, with a cumulative issuance of over 1 million vouchers, achieving the full process of voucher issuance, distribution, and redemption on the chain, bringing higher transparency and more reliable data management capabilities. With Lotte Group's extensive business scenarios and Aptos high-performance blockchain infrastructure, this cooperation is expected to further expand to diversified services such as customer points, digital assets, and stablecoins. As the regulatory framework for stablecoins in South Korea gradually takes shape, this "fund flow" ecosystem has more potential to lay the foundation for future digital asset applications in South Korea.
