Data: Over 3500 websites subjected to covert cryptocurrency mining attacks

According to a report by Golden Finance, security research firm C/Side recently revealed that over 3500 websites have been hacked and implanted with hidden JavaScript cryptocurrency mining programs. Attackers use Web Workers and WebSocket technology to secretly mine while users browse infected websites.
