Bitcoin native dApp infrastructure Midl completes $2.4 million seed round funding

According to Chainwire, Midl, the native dApp infrastructure for Bitcoin, announced the completion of a $2.4 million seed round financing led by Draper Associates with participation from Draper Dragon. This project aims to build a native smart contract execution environment on the Bitcoin mainnet, which can run decentralized applications without relying on sidechains or cross chain bridges. Midl is currently in the testing phase and the main network is expected to be launched soon. Multiple early DeFi protocols have been tested online, and over 20 projects are currently in different deployment stages.
