I just met with people from Moomoo (Singapore's Futu) and they are most concerned about the tax issue. I have figured it out:
1. Singapore EP will not provide information to Dongda because EP is a Singapore tax resident and this information will not be exchanged. However, for DP (family visa) and student visa registration on Moomoo, the information will be provided to Dongda because EP has not paid taxes and is not a Singapore tax resident.
2. The annual income filled in when registering Moomo is crucial. If you fill in 200000 yuan per year and deposit several million yuan each time, you may be asked for the source of funds. If you initially fill in a large amount and later deposit more, the probability of being heard about is not high.
3. Moomoo will accept USDT deposits at the end of the year, and now you can buy BTC and ETH on it. The spread is similar to Binance, and the transaction fee may be cheaper than mainstream exchanges.
This is not a promotional post, I'm just sharing the information I learned today.
