According to Foresight News, Deloitte released new data for its Q2 2025 Chief Financial Officer Signal Focus report this morning, which evaluates financial executives' vision for incorporating digital currencies into their operations. Only 1% of the surveyed CFOs stated that they do not expect to use cryptocurrency in their business functions in the long term. 23% of surveyed CFOs expect their finance departments to use cryptocurrency for investments or payments in the next two years, rising to nearly 40% in companies with revenue of $10 billion or more. 43% of CFOs are most concerned about price fluctuations in cryptocurrency investments, followed by accounting and control complexity (42%) and lack of industry regulation (40%). This survey was conducted from June 4th to 18th, targeting the financial executives of 200 North American companies with revenues of at least $1 billion. Steve Gallucci, Global and US Head of Deloitte's CFO Program, stated that "cryptocurrency is a unique asset, and the accounting treatment of digital assets seems to be ongoing." He explained that, for example, in January of this year, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) revoked its previous guidance on cryptocurrency accounting and established a working group to develop a new framework. At present, the final outcome of the working group is still uncertain
