Coinbase plans to launch a 'universal exchange' program, opening up tokenized stock and prediction markets to US users

According to a report by Golden Finance, Coinbase plans to launch new products to US users in the coming months, including tokenized stocks, predictive markets, and early token issuances, to build a "universal exchange". This platform aims to enable all transactions on the asset chain. Coinbase will compete with licensed Kalshi and Polymarket, which recently acquired QCEX, in the prediction market field, and will challenge platforms such as Robinhood that provide tokenized stock services.
