Please analyze the RedStone Atom of @ redstone_difi RedStone Atom is a oracle system that integrates "clearing intelligence". Core module: Module 1: Zero latency clearing mechanism Module 2: Native OEV (Oracle Extractable Value) Capture Mechanism This thread will conduct a technical breakdown and evaluation of this issue 2/15 Industry benchmark: traditional push based oracle Currently, most DeFi lending protocols use push oracle technology. Its working mode is to publish new prices on the chain at preset time intervals (such as 1 hour) or price deviation thresholds (such as 0.5%). The main economic consideration of this model is to control the gas cost of on chain transactions. 3/15 The direct consequences of the benchmark mode The limitation on update frequency results in a delay between oracle prices and real-time market prices. To mitigate the risks associated with this delay, the lending agreement must adopt conservative risk control parameters, such as setting a lower loan to value ratio (LTV), which directly limits the capital efficiency and user experience of the agreement. 4/15 Atom Module 1: Zero Latency Clearing Mechanism Atom adopts an on-demand update mode. The price update is not driven by time, but by protocol requirements (i.e. the achievement of settlement conditions). Any entity can call the oracle to immediately upload the latest price on the chain when any position becomes liquidatable, achieving zero latency. 5/15 The Quantitative Impact of Zero Delay Liquidation LTV Enhancement: The protocol minimizes risk exposure and can safely provide higher LTV. Reduced bad debt risk: When market prices rapidly decline, it can trigger liquidation at a better price point, avoiding excessive loss of collateral value and directly reducing agreement losses. User benefit optimization: higher capital utilization and safer protocol environment, allowing the protocol to provide users with more competitive deposit and lending rates. 6/15 Industry background: Value loss of OEV OEV (Oracle Extractable Value) refers to the profit opportunity created by the update of the oracle. In loan settlement, this value is mainly reflected in settlement bonuses. It is estimated that DeFi has an OEV value of over $500 million, and possibly as high as $2 billion, leaked from the protocol to external MEV arbitrage robots or liquidators. 7/15 Atom Module 2: Native OEV Capture Mechanism Atom captures OEV through a built-in, off chain sealed bidding auction system. technological process: 1. When the liquidation condition is triggered, Atom opens a sub second (<300ms) auction window to the solver network. 2. The solver submits a blind bid to compete for exclusive execution rights for the liquidation. 3. The highest bidder's offer is directly paid to the agreement treasury. The solver earns the difference between the liquidation bonus and the quoted price. 8/15 Economic benefits captured by OEV This mechanism internalizes the previously externalized liquidation profits, bringing multiple benefits to the agreement: New source of income: The agreement treasury obtains stable cash flow, which can be used for repurchases, dividends, or to enrich reserves. Optimize user incentives: This income can be used to increase deposit interest rates or reduce loan interest rates, directly giving back to users. Reducing inflation dependence: reduces the need for liquidity incentives through the issuance of governance tokens in the protocol, making the model more sustainable. 9/15 Technical implementation: Atlas engine from FastLane Labs The functionality of Atom is supported by the Atlas engine. It is an application specific sorter, whose core function is to bundle three operations into an atomic transaction: 1) RedStone oracle price on chain; 2) Execute liquidation in the loan agreement; 3) The winning solver pays the auction price to the agreement. 10/15 De trust design of Atlas architecture Atlas fully integrates all auction logic and transaction bundling logic into on chain smart contracts. This design is fundamentally different from solutions that rely on off chain centralized relays such as Flashbots. It does not introduce additional trust assumptions, ensuring transparency and censorship resistance of operations. 11/15 System resilience of Atlas architecture The system has two key fault-tolerant designs built-in: Try/Catch logic: The contract will attempt clearing transactions submitted by each solver in order of bid price. Even if the top ranked transaction fails due to unforeseen circumstances, it will automatically attempt the next one until successful. Automatic rollback mechanism: If there are no valid bids within the auction window or all attempts fail, Atlas will still put the new oracle price on the chain and then exit. At this point, the system returns to the traditional clearing mode without any additional delay. 12/15 Horizontal comparison of OEV solution market RedStone Atom | Zero latency | De trust | EVM universal |~50%| API3 OEV Feeds |~30 second delay | De trust | EVM universal |~80%| Chainlink SVR | Zero Latency | Trusted Relay | Ethereum Mainnet Priority |~60%| 13/15 The above comparison provides a clear decision-making framework for DeFi protocols. The agreement needs to make trade-offs among the following objectives: Speed and Risk Control: RedStone/Chainlink Maximizing Profit: API3 Decentralization and Cross Chain Deployment: RedStone/API3 14/15 Market adoption and ecosystem status Integrated protocols: Compound Finance, Morpho, Venus Protocol, etc. have been integrated with Atom on Unichain. Plan to expand network: BNB Chain, Base, HyperEVM, Berachain, Arbitrarum, Ethereum mainnet. Bottom layer oracle network: RedStone has covered 110+chains, served 170+projects, and has a total guaranteed value (TVS) of over 8 billion US dollars. 15/15 The emergence of Atom indicates that the functionality of oracle machines is evolving from a single data information service to an integrated value capture service. The OEV capture efficiency and value return capability of oracle providers have become key evaluation indicators for DeFi protocols when selecting infrastructure.
