Hashgraph Group launches autonomous sovereign identity platform IDTrust

According to Cointelegraph, Hashgraph Group (THG) has launched IDTrust, an autonomous sovereign identity platform based on the Hedera network, which combines artificial intelligence technology to achieve decentralized digital identity management. This platform adopts the Hedera stateless proof mechanism, which is different from blockchain solutions such as Polygon that require a complete transaction history. Users do not need to hold HBAR tokens to use it. THG CEO Stefan Deiss stated that IDTrust provides complete identity authentication and authorization functions, placing more emphasis on enterprise level applications than solutions such as Polygon ID and Worldcoin. Its decentralized features provide more complete data control than Microsoft Entra. The platform is compatible with Switzerland's ongoing e-ID system and can verify official credentials such as driver's licenses.
