BTC.D This recent altcoin run has been similar to size as the post election rally. The post election run only saw 14 days of altcoin outperformance. This recent rally took about 26 but was slightly smaller in terms of BTC Dominance change. These were the largest two periods of altcoin outperformance since the BTC.D bottom in September 2022. So that's nearly 3 years where the largest "alt seasons" we've seen so far have been just 2-4 weeks. My major catalyst/key level for a wider and longer alt season would be for ETH to break those cycle highs around 4.1K and head towards its previous all time high. That would very likely kick off wider risk on appetite towards alts and should also make it last longer than just a few weeks. But until that changes, be very picky in the alts you choose. Even during these last few weeks, there's been big winners and a lot of underperformers. So always know what you're holding and why.(Daan Crypto Trades)
